Marvel Cinematic Universe phase 5 Captain Marvel 2 news! Captain Marvel officially begins with a new writer from the Wanda Vision Disney Plus series. Will Captain Marvel 2 set up the New Avengers and have Spider-Man team up in the film? We know Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel are supposed to be the new leaders of the New Avengers and it seems like this film will set that up. With the Sony and Marvel / Disney deal being for a solo Spider-Man film and a team up film with no Avengers film coming, it’s likely that this is the film the team up will happen in and will go on to set up the future new Avengers.
