The DC Comics-based television series Young Justice portrays Captain Marvel as an animated character. Billy Batson is voiced by Robert Ochoa, and Rob Lowe performs the role of Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel is a member of the Justice League, and she joins the Young Justice on missions from time to time. Billy is about 10 years old during his season one appearances, and he becomes fifteen and seventeen during season two.
During one episode, Superman saves Wally’s birthday party by bringing Batman back from the dead. He is about to reveal that he has been summoning five flying Ice Fortresses to cause the snowstorms, which are caused by supervillains. The two heroes are reunited when Batman interrupts the party and saves the day. The heroes fight off the villain, but Batman isn’t pleased.
The title of the character is an acronym for Shazam and Billy Batson. Batson was given these powers by the wizard Shazam by ancient beings. Billy has a sister, Mary, whom he recently discovered. He also shares his powers with his friend Freddy, but he lost him when the villain, Captain Nazi, attacked them. They both battle the villains and save the world. However, Captain Marvel is far from the only superhero in the comics.
Though Captain Marvel is a member of the Justice League, he prefers to hang out with the Team. He admires the Team, and he can relate to them better than adults. Since the Team are all older than him, he idolizes them. The team was confused about his identity before Billy finally revealed it. Fortunately, Captain Marvel’s powers are eventually revealed to the other members of the Justice League. If the villains want to kill him, they’ll have to be careful.
