In order to save the world, a young man named Peter Parker must arm himself with super strength, agility, and the skills of his mind to fight crime. The young man, who was named Spiderman, finds himself in New York City and goes into action against criminal gangs that are terrorizing the city. While trying to prevent crime, Spiderman sets about investigating the background of criminals that he encounters. Along the way, Spiderman comes across a criminal named Mary Jane Watson, whom he quickly identifies as a female super villain, and engages her in a one man battle. The two fight for a while, until Mary Jane reveals her true identity as the Leader of therax, a group of criminally insane robots who have taken over the city.
When the city’s electricity is shut off, forcing the citizens to rely on cell phones to communicate, the conflict surrounding the situation only seems to grow. The police become powerless as the criminal gangs wage war on their own, while the police are forced to turn to the most unlikely of sources, the masked vigilante known as Spiderman. He teams up with the last remaining vigilante, Ben Parker, who acts as a shield for Spiderman when he is not fighting. This film is directed by Sam Raimi, the man responsible for many of the modern blockbuster movies we enjoy today, including Spiderman 3.
It is not a light film, with its dark theme and very gritty action. Despite that, the figure is great, and well detailed. You can easily make this a part of any Marvel collection, and you will be happy to add the Tesseract to it. The Captain Marvel Tesseract will be a welcome addition to any of your collections.
