Marvel fans are in for a treat, as Marvel announced at San Diego Comic-Con that they will be releasing a new zombie series. It’s called Marvel Zombies and will feature zombified versions of Hawkeye, Captain America, and more.
The series will be written by Zeb Wells, who is known for writing comics but also wrote an episode of She-Hulk. He is also working on a cross-title event that is set in the Spider-Man universe from Peter Parker’s point of view.
In this series, the heroes of the MCU will be infected with a virus that causes them to be infected with a zombie disease. As the infection spreads, the heroes’ personalities become corrupted and their behavior changes in ways that are not good.
They become extremely weak and can’t think clearly. The infected’s self-control is impaired, and they have a strong desire to kill or eat other people.
After a time, their hunger subsides and they return to their normal selves. Some of them try to find ways to use their new powers, but this causes the virus to spread to other worlds.
A group of heroes in the Marvel comics universe is attempting to prevent this from happening, but they don’t have enough time. They’re joined by a group of Avengers who are infected with the same virus.
They’re joined by heroes like Yelena Belova and Red Guardian from Black Widow, Kate Bishop from Hawkeye, Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp, Death Dealer, Shang-Chi, and Okoye from Eternals. These heroes are trying to protect the Avengers from the Marvel Zombies, who are able to kill them if they’re not killed themselves first.
