Captain Marvel is pretty powerful, as evidenced by her teleportation abilities and ability to fly. Her powers are incredibly versatile, and she can boost her strength with various energy sources, including the White Hole (where she draws power in the comics). She also has an enhanced physiology that makes it easier for her to harness her powers. Combined with her photon fists, she’s a formidable opponent.
But just how powerful is she? Fans have been curious about her true power level, and it’s a big part of why Nick Fury sought her out during the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War. Is she truly the strongest hero in the MCU?
The films only scratch the surface of what she can do, but her capabilities are impressive enough to warrant Fury’s attempt to contact her. Her power set includes flight, super strength, super agility, the ability to create energy fields, and the ability to absorb and use energy. She can also fire off photon energy blasts, similar to the power of Thor’s Mjolnir.
However, despite all of these powers, it is unlikely that she would be able to overcome the Hulk. In the comics, she is a mid tier level hero at best and far below planetary level heroes like Thor and the Hulk. She can use her energy projection to help offset Hulk’s durability, but in a one-on-one fight, he’d easily no sold her attacks and one-shot her. He wouldn’t even need to tap into his rage.
