Supergirl and captain marvel are both female versions of original male characters, but that doesn’t mean they have the same power set. Supergirl (Linda Danvers) can fly, fire blasts of photonic or stellar energy, and has super strength and durability. Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) is an energy manipulator and possesses the ability to teleport and increase her physical attributes with the energy she absorbs. She can also fire energy blasts of a variety of different colors, including red sunlight.
Both are powerful fighters and have gone toe-to-toe with some of DC’s most powerful heroes. Supergirl has even fought a cyborg version of herself and a clone of Wonder Woman, but she still has weaknesses like Kryptonite. Carol, on the other hand, is impervious to Kryptonite and can teleport without the use of her signature blue energy beams. She is also capable of firing a massive burst of electromagnetic radiation at her enemies.
The two women meet face-to-face and begin fighting. Supergirl aims a punch at Binary, but the Amazonian princess flies towards her and hits her in the face. She then kicks her in the gut, sending her flying across the city. Supergirl can hear a heartbeat from a great distance, and she can telepathically communicate with any Kryptonian. Supergirl can also detect vibrations and a heartbeat through solid objects. In addition, she can use her powers to create force fields. Finally, she has the ability to travel interstellar distances at nearly light speed and has shown she can survive in a vacuum.
