Captain Marvel Movie Review
The Captain Marvel movie is a reboot of the comic book character. While the original Captain Marvel was a man, a female version was developed in the 1960s. The company was founded in 1939 as Timely Comics and changed its name to DC Comics in 1961. Carol Danvers is the current Captain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will be directed by Anna Boden. Kevin Feige is producing the movie, which was first published in 1963.
The original Captain Marvel was a Kree military officer, Mar-Vell. He was sent to Earth to observe the human race during the 1960s. He eventually became an acclaimed hero, with super strength and flight. The character has also been a hero in comics since he was trapped in the Negative Zone. The movie version, titled “Captain Marvel,” was cancelled in 1979. Later writers “resurrected” the character.
The female Captain Marvel is played by Annette Bening. The male version of the character is called Mar-Vell. The movie portrays Mar-Vell as a female. The gender switch actually occurred late in the film’s development. The male version of the character is portrayed by Anthony Mackie, who starred as Ultimate Carol Danvers. While the movie portrays her as a woman, she is still known as “Captain Marvel.”
