But the new Captain Marvel trailer has revealed the origins of Carol Danvers’ famous ‘do.’ While the ‘dumb’ bet between DeConnick and McKelvie inspired the new haircut, her real-life hairstyle is even more edgier.
The mohawk was originally designed to keep her hair out of her face. However, in the movie, Carol Danvers’ ‘do was slightly different. She was pictured in concept art with her trademark sash. She was wearing a green costume, with a purple sash on her chest. But she eventually decided to give it a try, and she’s rocking her signature ‘do.
