After battling the Crime Syndicate in the 2010 animated film Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, Captain Marvel will take on more forces of evil in Avengers 4. While it is still too soon to reveal all her enemies, we know that her biggest villains will include the Mad Titan Thanos and an ancient female alien called Deathbird.
But that doesn’t mean she won’t come across a few other foes on her way. For example, the gloom and doom teenagers who tell her that saving the world is a waste of time in an increasingly dangerous planet might prove to be more than she bargained for. And if those teens happen to be explosive villain NITRO and his spooky alien pal NADA, the Captain will have to get creative if she wants to avoid being their next target.
Other notable Captain Marvel enemies include a female version of herself and the cyborg known as Superwoman. The former appears in the upcoming animated film Justice League: Gods and Monsters, while the latter made her debut as one of Superman’s Regime of heroes in the video game Injustice: Gods and Monsters.
As far as classic Captain Marvel enemies go, there’s no denying that the Kree Supreme Intelligence is one of her most formidable adversaries. As the leader of the Kree people, the Supreme Intelligence has the power to influence their decisions and overall behavior. And since the fate of every single Captain Marvel has been tied to the Kree, the Supreme Intelligence is a threat to them all.
