On February 21st, Brie Larson clarified some of her earlier comments that as of late haven taken on a life of their own. This clarification, and the subsequent articles in its wake, looks a whole lot like damage control, mandated by Disney.
Then you might wonder, why the need for damage control? In this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will explore just what this problem is, and explain why this is damage limitation; before moving onto the most recent boxoffice tracking figures, and finally, what the early social media reactions say about the movie – and how much stock we should put in those reactions.
